How to Play Bricks Breaker By Prity
60 levels, 19 paddle skins, 11 color-coded bricks with their own perks (some help, some hurt!), brick-cracking damage states, and combo chain blasts. Connect your wallet, pick a paddle, and start smashing.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: move the paddle by dragging or hovering across the play area.
- Arrow keys: use ← and → for precise control.
- Launch: tap, click, or press Space to release a stuck ball.
- Pause / Resume: tap the pause button in the HUD.
Powerups — colors matter (some are traps!)
Every brick has a chance to drop a powerup capsule when destroyed. The color of the brick determines which powerup drops, so you can plan combos. The falling capsules show an icon and a label so you always know what's coming — dodge the bad ones, they cost lives or shrink your gear.
Good — catch these
Heart icon. Extra paddle life — survive one fall through the floor.
Explodes a handful of bricks at once. Great for stuck levels.
Ball sticks to the paddle on the next hit. Aim, then release with click/space.
Paddle stretches 40% wider for ~15 seconds. Easier saves.
Slows the ball for ~8 seconds. Line up that perfect shot.
Splits into 3 balls. Triple the damage, triple the panic.
Bad — let these fall
Skull capsule. Catching this costs you a life — let it drop.
Same as -1 life, but wrapped in a white capsule. Sneaky — easy to mistake for a good drop.
Ball shrinks to ~55% size for 10s. Hits less, easier to miss with the paddle.
Ball speed jumps +50% for 8s. Catching SLOW afterwards cancels it.
Paddle shrinks to ~30% width for 4s. The worst drop — try to dodge.
Combo Chain Blast
Break 5 bricks of the same color in under ~2.2 seconds to trigger a Chain Blast — every brick of that color on the field detonates at once, along with their powerup drops. Going for chains is the fastest way to clear dense levels and rack up points.
- The combo counter pops up over the brick you just broke.
- Mixing colors resets the combo — focus fire on one color to chain.
- The chain blast itself doesn't feed the combo, so you can pivot to a new color afterwards.
Between Levels — Pick Your Paddle
When you clear a level, the game pauses and shows you every paddle you've unlocked so far. Pick one to take into the next level — your current paddle stays selected by default, and any paddles you've just unlocked are tagged with a NEW badge.
- Your pick is remembered for next time, so you can experiment freely.
- Some paddles have unique perks — the Electric Aura surges on every ball hit, the Lightning paddle has a live traveling arc, and the Fire Truck flickers with flames.
- You can still change paddles outside a run from the Paddles page.
Brick Types
One-hit bricks in your level's color palette. The bread and butter.
From level ~8 onward, some bricks take 2–8 hits. Look for the slightly darker shading — those are the tough ones. Each hit etches a visible crack pattern across the brick so you can see exactly how close it is to breaking.
From level 8+ a few bricks turn into metal (rivets, +2 HP). From level 12+ orange explosive bricks appear — pop one and it chain-detonates everything within reach.
Each level is shaped after a pattern: pyramids, diamonds, hourglasses, plus pixel-art ships, airplanes, helicopters, UFOs, hearts, skulls, crowns, rockets, robots, lightning bolts, castles, and trees.
Every level packs at least 50 bricks (often more), so chains and powerups have plenty of fuel.
Ball Speed Ramp
The ball starts at a comfortable pace and accelerates up to 60% faster as you clear bricks in a level. Each new level also raises the baseline speed. By level 60, even the warmup is intense.

Revives — pay with ETH on Base
When you run out of lives, you can revive on the spot by sending a small ETH transaction on Base mainnet. The game keeps your ball position, score, and paddle — you just continue.
- If your wallet is on Ethereum mainnet, the game will prompt you to switch to Base before charging.
- Don't have Base configured? It'll be added to your wallet automatically.
- The revive fee is intentionally tiny — gas plus a small protocol amount.
Fees — what costs ETH (and why it's tiny)
A few actions send a small ETH transaction on Base mainnet. Each one is intentionally tiny (a few cents of ETH) — just enough to keep the game fair and fund the prize wheels. Levels you've already cleared are always free to replay.
- Start (entry): a one-time fee the first time you begin a run.
- Unlock a new level: a one-time fee to advance to a level you haven't reached yet. Pay once — that level is yours to replay free forever.
- Revive: optional, only if you run out of lives and want to continue.
- If your wallet is on Ethereum mainnet, the game switches it to Base before charging.
Every fee you pay also raises how much you can win back on the prize wheels (see below).
Prize Wheels — win real USDC
Reach a milestone level (every 5th level) to spin that level's prize wheel, plus there's one free-to-enter daily spin. Each spin costs a tiny ETH fee and the result is decided fairly on our server — the wheel lands on exactly the prize you're credited, in real USDC on Base.
- The amount shown on the wheel is exactly what's added to your withdrawable USDC balance — no surprises.
- Bigger payouts unlock as you play more: the more fees you've paid, the larger the prizes you can win back.
- There's a rare jackpot slice on milestone wheels — genuinely winnable, paid from a house-funded pool.
- Withdraw your USDC anytime from your Profile — no minimum.
Progress & Leaderboard
- Your level progress is saved per wallet address (locally in your browser).
- High scores are tracked on the global Leaderboard.
- Pick any unlocked level from the Level Map — you don't have to replay from the start.
